Literature is the main entry in fil-afaq. It is a published, written work of a muslim which brings benefits to the ummah as a whole.
Criteria #
In addition to the general criteria for inclusion, below are criteria which are specific to literature.
- Pass all the entity's inlusion criteria.
- Islamic-focused. The rule of thumb is that 50% of the content is about Islam or directly benificial for a Muslim in Islamic sense.
- Distributed in one of the media listed in edition.
Fields #
- Language
- The main language of the literature is written in.
- Title
- The title of the literature. If the literature is originally in non-latin script, then the proper transcription is applied.
- Original script
- This should only be filled when the literature contains non-latin script.
- Description
- Short description about the literature.
- Edition cover
- Which edition cover should be used as the literature entry cover. By default, it uses the first edition's cover.
- Status
- The current entry status in the DB. This only can be set by moderators.
